As a starting point let's talk about the elephant in the room, we do know SpongeBob is a popular name and our art can be confused with it. To be sure we cannot be under no circumstances chased or be accused of copyright infringements, we did a deep dig, also contracting two copyright specialised lawyers that brought forward the Following.
Plaintiff Troy Walker has sued defendants Viacom International the owner and Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of television series on Nickelodeon called SpongeBob SquarePants, alleging that defendants' series infringes Plaintiff's copyright for his comic strip "Mr. Bob Spongee."
So there is this man who drew an anthropomorphized sponge few years before the SpongeBob appeared and tried to claim the idea, suing them for Copyrights saying they copied his work.
